Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 3,552 | Staining around the eyes is always a problem with Bichons. I start out by careful grooming around the eyes by scissor cutting. "Wonderfluff" shampoo works the best for white dogs. http://www.dog.com/itemdy00.asp?T1=190938+116+FLE&Cat= Some Bichons have allergies that make the tear staining problem worse but most of the time it's just a gromming issue.
