Hello, I had nasopharyngeal cancer. I am celebratimg my 7 yr anniversary tommorrow, also I will be celebrating my 9 yr anniversary in february for acute lymphocytic leukemia. I had a very difficult time with my treatment mostly because I had 18 months of chemotherapy for my leukemia. I still managed to get the full 40 rad treatments as well as 2 or 3 cycles of cisplatin and 5 FU. Every person is different though. I hope you or whoever is going thru the treatment flies thru it with minimal complications.I frequently ask myself why i'm still here? Riley Mc is so right that this is a journey. A journey that I believe never ends. In the end I don't kmow what will happen to me. But I do know that cancer has forced me to look in the mirror and change things about myself that needed changing. I would hate to die because I've sort of like the guy I've become.I was never a big follower of positive attitude will help you beat cancer, I'm a big beleiver in a positice attituce energizes you and will improve your quality of life. If you surround yourself with people who love and care for you the the journey will surely be be a lot easier.Best Wishes
