I just sent an email regarding my Dad. He is the one with SCC of the buccal Mucosa (cheek). I began reading many of your measages and wish I had done this months ago. My Dad was diagnosed in ealy May and just ended radiation 3 weeks ago. My Mom, Dad and I have been to two Stanford, Kaiser and UCSF and all have different opinions about my Dad. He is being treated at Kaiser but UCSF did the IMRT. Reading your messages reminded me of my last few months with my parents and it made me cry. I thank you for sharing your experiences. I share in all your sadness but it was so nice to hear so many postive cancer survivors. God Bless you all - I will pray each night for you.
