Sorry for not posting in a while. I have been away from the forum but I haven't forgoten. I thought I would post up some of my recent activities.
On May 9th I was in Challis Idaho talking to kids about dipping and presenting my power point showing my story and possible results for them if they keep dipping. I had the full attention of a very polite group of about 200+ kids. Five of them gave me their cans and a few more said as soon as they get home, theirs is going inot the trash. They also took home pamplets I have gotten from various sources including Brian ( Thank you again Brian). Unfortunately, only a few pictures from this event turned out, but they give you an idea of how large my powerpoint was on the screen.
Idaho Presentation blurry, but you get the idea On May 18th I went to a local high school health fair. Though not fancy like alot of the booths, my booth was main stopping point for these kids. Some left and brought back friends that dipped. I had a few trash their cans and a few more were planning to do so once they got home.
Guy with hand in pocket
gave me his can and swore to quit.
Another quitter. Talking to the kids. More kids. Reactions are always interesting to watch. Here are some of the kids reactions to my pictures.
Reaction 1 Reaction 2 Reaction 3 Reaction 4 Last reaction. Anyhow, just wanted to share this with everyone. The nurse at the local high school is going to pass along info on my program to the area wide co ordinator of this type of program and hopefully I will pick up more speeches.
Y'all take care til next time.
