...okay, I know y'all are sick of hearing about Buzz by now....he was not allowed to leave the hospital today, and was very disappointed.
The IV's are out, the epidural is out, but he still has the draining tube at the surgical site; dr. says he will come home with that.
He has approx. 30 staples, and looks like he's lost about 10 lbs. this week, even though his appetite is perfect and he's eaten everything they'll give him.
He's actually walking 'upright', which he hasn't done since coming home from Winston. He was a delightful sight to see walking this morning!
I'm going to be at the hospital before 8 am, so that I can speak to the doctor about Buzz' shoulder. I've been thinking that the radiation and chemo might have possibly weakened his bones, and I don't want just anyone pulling on him. Will ask surgeon if he thinks we need to see an Orthopaedist.
Buzz was depressed and a little tearful today; he was also somewhat confused and made some questionable statments; I'm assuming that this is related to the drugs he has been given.
Thanks for your continued prayers! We love each and every one of you and are SO very thankful for your precious gift of friendship!
