Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 3,552 | I wouldn't wait longer than 2 weeks into radiation to switch to a electric. Nicking yourself with a razor can produce some very nasty infections with a compromised immune system. The lotion won't hurt, just make sure that your skin is clean and dry prior to getting a radiation treatment. I have been using a humidifier for almost 5 years now and it helps.
