I start radiation (and chemo w/amifostine) on 11/28 and the nurse said not to wash the area radiated only use water. Is this what others did? Or can I use something like Cetaphil? May be a silly question but there's so much going through my head I'm just trying to get info. Thanks.

Radiation to both side of the face and front throat to collar bone.
