Michelle, She may start to feel better right away. There is no way to predict what she will experience. Some here did feel worse for a week or more after radiation stopped. It is tough in the last treatmentss but she sounds strong and a little more support for these last days will go a long way.

Mark, 21 Year survivor, SCC right tonsil, 3 nodes positive, one with extra-capsular spread. I never asked what stage (would have scared me anyway) Right side tonsillectomy, radical neck dissection right side, maximum radiation to both sides, no chemo, no PEG, age 40 when diagnosed.
