Nelie, I think it isn't correct to say that cisplatin doesn't cause hair loss. It is stated to be a probable side effect for some people, not all. I got prepared for total hair loss before treatment by making a wig for myself. Very luckily, I just lost a few more than usual after washing my hair during treatment. I didn't need the wig at all and hope that I never need it for the rest of my life.People react differently and as far as I know, the lost hair will grow fairly quickly after treatment. And usually it looks even stronger and thicker than before.
