OP Patient Advocate (old timer, 2000 posts) Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 2,019 | Thank you. Everything starts for real today and I'm nervous (though also I can't imagine having to wait any longer so I gues it's time).
I'm hoping the Amifostine doesn't bother me, the head pain thing during the radiation gets resolved, I actually get to talk to the radiation oncologist after, and the chemo, this afternoon, doesn't bother me too much or make me nauseated (the oncology nurse sounded very positive Friday that that part would be OK so I'm really more worried about the Amifostine and radiation in the AM).
Thanks for the support. I am so glad to have found a palce where other people have been through this.
