My prayers are with you. My husband is three weeks post 8 weeks of chemo/rad treatments. He made it and so can you! If your tongue is getting radiated, I would highly recommend a PEG tube. Dan has not been able to get anything through his mouth for 2 months now. He is regaining strength and feeling better just recently. Take care and have a great support system in place...it helped us tremendously!

Debbie - Caregiver for husband, Dan, diagnosed with tongue cancer 7/03. Partial gloss., mod. neck dissections, graft. Recurrence neck tumor 12/03. Radical left neck dissection 12/24/03-unable to get all the tumor. 8 weeks chemo/rad beginning 1/12/04.
