Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 49 | Had my 1st Chemo This morning.
Zofran 32 mg
Decadron 20mg Anti- emectic 15 min injection
Benadryl 50 mg
Tagament 300 mg Anti emectic 15 min. injection
Taxol 70 mg 1 Hour injection
Carboplatin 260 mg 1 Hour injection
Before the treatment began, I took 20mg of dexamethasone 12 hrs. before and 20mg 6 hrs before. When I came home I took 10 mg of prochlorperazine and repeat very 6 hrs for two days. So far no side affects.
Does this sound fimiliar as a standard treatment? I'll be getting this every Monday. Don't know how many yet. Will be getting set up for radiation Friday.
