You have certainly received news you should cherish and you should enjoy every day...worry free until someone proves otherwise. You have touched on what I feel is the most difficult situation we have to face in healthcare: the severe compartmentalization. The insurance companies forced it on us, in my opinion, trying to get us away from the family doctor by paying the specialists more money which created more specialists and soon we see 5 doctors instead of 2. That sure helped control the cost, eh?
I am happy for you. I am so happy I would trade places with you if I could. Actually, I would not wish that upon you. Take care and use the knowledge you gained from hanging out in the hood to help others in our situation.
