Hi Markus,
I'll try, though I don't really understand what I am trying to tell everyone. Yesterday the surgeons office called, they said that they were reviewing her case for surgery for 9/17. Her pre-op testing showed that she had an elevated p.t.t. and a.p.t.t. levels. Apparently they are her clotting tests. The only med I can think of is possibly that when they were giving her the Erbitux they first gave her benadryl and I believe they also gave her heparin. I called the mo office and spoke with one nurse and asked her. She said she didn't think so. It was the end of office hours, I don't believe she opened a file or looked at the computer record. I need to call back and speak with the nurse practioner. I explained all of this to the nurse at the surgeons office, she said she would look into it. Feel a little insecure as this is the same office we were dealing with in the very beginning-the office who dropped the ball several times. Mom's RO wants to use this surgeon as he is the best, and knowing that we want that for her. I hope this makes sense and doesn't sound like a lot of rambling. Lately that's all I feel like I am doing.
Thanks again Markus.
