I am getting ready to start radiation treatment to the portion of my tongue that the ENT Doc sutured up four weeks ago.
The sutures remain, they haven't started to fall out yet.
My question is this...Has anyone started radiation with the healing process from the surgery still underway, and what, if any, effect did this have on the incision sites?
