The doctor felt she was having focal seizures. I don't know much about them and I'm sure there could be other reasons for twitching, too. But I would certainly question the doc about focal seizures. Even the nurses could probably give you an idea of what might cause twitching. I sometimes found the nurses to be just as knowledgable and usually much more approachable than the doctors. Was primary caregiver to my daughter Heather who had stage IV base of tongue SCC w/ primary recurrence. Original diagnosis August 21st, 2002. Primary recurrence March 18th, 2003. Died October 6th, 2003.
