It has been a while since we talked about this here but I slept on a 6 inch incline under my pillow to help with swelling. I didn't have bad swelling but it helped just the same. I was able to get level after about a year.
Mark, 21 Year survivor, SCC right tonsil, 3 nodes positive, one with extra-capsular spread. I never asked what stage (would have scared me anyway) Right side tonsillectomy, radical neck dissection right side, maximum radiation to both sides, no chemo, no PEG, age 40 when diagnosed.
