This cancer has a nasty reputation for sneaking back. I don't know the Canadian system well enough to give you exact instruction but you need to see specialists with regard to radiation treatments (as a possibility) and specialists in head and neck surgery ENT. A CT scan is not sensitive enough to detect microscopic cancer spread. I suggest you not wait around you are much too young to take a chance. Obviously I do not know if you need any thing further for treatments but you need to seek out people that have a lot of experience with this cancer, and the treatments availiable.

P.S. let me stress that the course of treatments you are getting may indeed be the standard. But if it were me I'd want 10 or 20 qualified opinions to verify that fact.
Mark, 21 Year survivor, SCC right tonsil, 3 nodes positive, one with extra-capsular spread. I never asked what stage (would have scared me anyway) Right side tonsillectomy, radical neck dissection right side, maximum radiation to both sides, no chemo, no PEG, age 40 when diagnosed.
