Before the cancer sugery the only other surgery I'd had under a general anesthetic was dental work, once for biopsy once for having all 4 wisdom teeth pulled.
Actually slightly woke up during both surgerys. Remember some of the dental work and the doc stitching me up after the biopsy. Doc said I took almost twice as much anashetic as normal.
So, one needs to make the anethetic doc aware if you're having this problem. Bob
SCC Tongue, stage IV diagnosed Sept, 2002, 1st radical neck dissection left side in Sept, followed by RAD/Chemo. Discovered spread to right side nodes March 2003, second radical neck dissection April, followed by more RAD/Chemo.
