Danny, I do agree - it is a slow process, but hang in there! Have you tried scrambled eggs? How about macaroni & cheese? My husband for the longest time was basically existing on ice cream and chocolate milk and rice krispies cereal, because that was pretty much the only things that wouldn't aggravate his painful throat and mouth any more than it was. He also on occasion managed a bowl of chili (very mild of course!) with the ground beef crumbled into small but not overly tiny particles. And I would also highly recommend the cookbook that Brian has referred us to called "Easy-to-Swallow, Easy-to-Chew". It's filled with a LOT of great ideas, and has helped my husband a lot, plus it's enjoyable food for everyone else in the family too!
