If your docs are good guys, they won't be offended by this. I don't klike the numbness part, nor the time that it has been there. A second set of eyes and opinion hurts no on,e and I bet if you push these guys or another ENT, someone will see you immediately. It's not them that has the cancer. If you are not comfortable with this (I wouldn't be), be your own advocate and push for action. You shouldn't even consider if you are being foolish or not. Your mental comfort is reason enough to do this.
