Hi Derek: Glad you had the biopsy...I'm NOT a doctor, but you may have some scar tissue...Also, if you had to take any antibiotics following the procedure, you may have a little 'yeast' or 'thrush' to deal with..

Either way, I'd be calling the surgeon with these questions, just to ease your mind.
