Do a search on the message boards -- the link is at the top of each page -- for postings by dileep, a medical oncologist (chemotherapy expert) in India who had surgery in August to remove a cancer in his cheek. Once you can see his profile, you can get his e-mail address to write him, or you can send him a private message through this site. I expect he could provide you with specific advice concerning the best treatments and facilities available in India.

You certainly have come to the right place to learn. Once you know a little more about your boyfriend's condition, you will find lots of helpful information both on these message boards and on the main part of the site.

All the best,
Leslie

April 2006: Husband dx by dentist with leukoplakia on tongue. Oral surgeon's biopsy 4/28/06: Moderate dysplasia; pathology report warned of possible "skip effect." ENT's excisional biopsy (got it all) 5/31/06: SCC in situ/small bit superficially invasive. Early detection saves lives.
