But don't assume the worst. I jiust went in for an unscheduled visit to my doc last week because I had a white spot that the nurse at my MO's office said didn't appear to be thrush. My ENT reassured me that it's some sort of scar tissue that my tongue is "shedding" (whatever that means). Even though I am over a year out from treatment, there are apparently new spots like this that can form afterwards.
Phew. That was a big relief since I was really scared it was a recurrence.
So get it checked. But don't panic yet (I also am still on a tube, though hoping it may not be for life and I have trismus as well)
