You have found the most comprehensive site for oral cancer patients on the web. Take advantage of the search engine at the top of this page and the one on the home page. There is a wealth of information here and a tremendous amount of support.

I was diagnosed with Stage I, scc on the tongue, last March. Hopefully you are being seen at a comprehensive cancer center. A lot depends on what they find in relation to your lymph nodes. Treatment can be limited to surgery only (as was mine) or a combination of surgery, radiation and/or chemo.

You should keep us posted with more information as you get it. There is no course of treatment that someone on this board hasn't been through.
