I also had my surgery at HUP in 2001 and found the surgeon marvelous. Original surgey in 1997 done in Trenton, but radiation and all follow up at HUP since 1997 in Phila. You have to call the doctor's nurse or secretary if you are not getting the answers you need. Demand to get the results of the biopsy. I had a swallow test last Friday and the nurse gave me the results over the phone on Monday and faxed them to me. A biospy may take longer than a few days but they should be able to tell if the results are back.
