My Mother has atypical epithelial hyperplasia with areas of carcinoma-in-situ inside on her left gum area. The surgeon says he will go to the bone but will not have to remove the bone. I am concerned about them putting her to sleep as she is a 84year old lady with congestive heart failure along with that she has a heart condion known as a-fib where her heart gets out of rythm.
Is it necessary to put her completly asleep with a breathing tube and all.
