I had my surgery Feb. 3, and part of that was a radical neck (whatever you call it when they take the lymph nodes out). Also 1/3 tongue, and floor of mouth.

Question: For the last few days I have had numerous sharp pains in the ear on the side where this was done. Anyone else ever experience this? I thought maybe it might just be feeling coming back, but unsure.

Squamous Cell Carcinoma, floor of mouth. T2 N0 M0. Diagnosed January 2004. Partial glossectomy, right neck dissection, removal of floor of mouth, gum, bottom teeth, flap from forearm, skin grafts.
