Brian-
In response to your question, they did biopsy the "lesion" on the base of my tounge like 2 months prior to this, and it came back atypical hyperplasia of T and B cells. So, I went to Penn for 2nd opinion and when he looked down my nose/throat with the flexible laryngoscope, he saw no such "lesion" but instead, alot of inflammed and irritated lymph tissue. Maybe the so-called lesion, was never a lesion at all, or what once was, was taken at the first biopsy. The doctor did say he took quite a bit off the back of my tounge, but did not show cancer. That is when it was recommended to me to have a rebiopsy and when I changed facilities. I am thankful if he got what had been there, and that I am through with procedures, at this time. Never know what these new doctors are going to say about the enlarged nodes in my chest, probaby try to diagnose it as some sort of virus, which is fine with me. My anxiety has gotten 100x better just to know I am cancer-free.
Thanks again for all of your support, each and every one of you.
