First, I hope everyone had an enjoyable Thanksgiving. Second, my apologies for not posting for several months; but I have been experiencing some non-cancer related overwhelming personal problems. I am happy to relay that things are much better.

Many of you have read and are familar with the story of Larry Sharp on the personal experience section of this site. Larry was recently diagnosed with a reoccurance of cancer as discussed on his November 2002 segment. This past Wednesday, Larry was operated on for removal of cancerous lymph nodes and cancer in his jaw. As soon as I receive word of his recovry status, I will keep you posted. I would like to request that all of you to join me in sending Larry good vibes for a speedy recovery and a favorable prognosis.

As a side note, I am continually amazed at the leaps and bounds of growth of the OCF board in the last year. The courage, hope and help that is offered by everyone is truly astonishing and awe-inspiring.

My thanks to Brain for this board and all that he has done to promote the awareness of Oral Cancer, it's causes and treament options.

Take care.
Anne.
