Recently I uncovered CT results with a summary impression reading: Impression:
"2.5 cm mass in the oropharynx at the level of the tounge base and hyoid bone, projecting into the oropharyngeal lumen and severely narrowing it.
Neoplasm mostly strongly suspected and further evaluation warranted. No evidence of overt cervical lymphadenopathy. The summary is not what shook me up, it was the total findings. Some of the findings gave me some comfort, but I feel I may be in for the fight of my life. As I am a single mom of three children ages, 19, 15 and 12, and with no living family, I am now struggling on the ways to handle situations surrounding their various needs through this journey. Am already contacting organizations for info, in order to prepare for battle. For now I am anxiously awaiting a bipsy and that HMO clearance so as to schedule...

I am in process of HMO clearance for eval at a comprehensive cancer center... another story, another time. For now my concerns and anxiety level are rising, with me. I think I really need more info. I have been reading up on the internet and find my concerns rising.
