Hello Everyone,

I didn't think I would be back, was so hopeful not to have to be. But, I'm back and glad you are here. My dad is having a recurrence, same time of year, same type of cancer, SCC, same spot in his right cheek as 4 yrs. before. Just diagnosed, not staged yet, his appointment is 12/11, with his cancer team at The Cleveland Clinic.

I'm trying to see the glass as half full, so I will try not to bring fear or dispair to the board. A colleague sent me an email this morning, it said, "worry looks around, regret looks back, but faith looks up". I will try to look up. It breaks my heart to know he will suffer while he fights for his life. He believes the treatment was worth it to come out alive and have such a good quality of life for the last 3 years and is ready to do it again. I don't know what to expect as far as treatment options, since it is in the same location as was radiated before.

I wish everyone here well again.
