Hi Everyone:

Thanks to those who have been checking in with me via private e-mail. As I have mentioned, my mother has been really ill with many chronic health issues of late and I have been a bit consumed between work, kids, and her needs to be here much in the last month or so.

The good news is that Dave and I are getting married on June 19th. We have decided that instead of gifts, we are going to ask guests to make a donation to OCF. Okay, here is where you all come in- I need to e-mail Brian about setting up a fund for this purpose so we can keep track of which guests send in donations.

What do you think we should call it? Big virtual prize for the most creative member...

Keep in mind this is a slightly unconventional wedding with a British/American Rock N Roll Theme Reception. The beauty of having had the big wedding once is that you can really have fun the second time!

Taking any ideas for how to be catchy on the invitation to invite donations to a cause way more worthy than receiving a serving bowl (although my old ones are kind of worn out but we'll take any opportunity we can to raise awareness and get donations!)
