Had been living on a peg for 5 years. I had terrible trouble while being treated due to mucositis, but forced myself to swallow small amounts of water with my oxycontins. they were very small. Whatever advice you may haved will help all here.
SCC, base of tongue, 2 lymph nodes, stage 3/4. 35 X's IMRT radiation, chemo: Cisplatin x 2, 5FU x2, & Taxol x2. Hooray, after 3 years I'm in still in remission.
