Thank you for replying. As for the brachytherapy, I was really fortunate. The radiology oncologist that I chose to go to (he was closest) just happened to be one of the doctors who perform this procedure. He works out of the Pittsburgh, PA area. I had a hard time finding information on the internet about the procedure, so I assumed it wasn't performed much. It went well, I suppose. I went through radiation and chemo first for 6 wks., then healed for 2 wks, then had the brachy treatments. I had to stay in the hospital for 7 days while I got the treatments. The doctor said he's had alot of good results from this procedure. If you have anymore questions, I'll be sure to answer them if I can. I don't go for my pet scan till Nov. so I'm not sure were I am at this point. I did get a good checkup a few weeks ago, though, he said he couldn't feel the tumor and everything looked good. I took that just for what it was, "Great News"!!! smile
