I must have been out of town visiting my new 3 pound grandaughter when news of Packers death was reported on the board. I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to all of his friends and family. His sounded like a heroic fight and God bless his wife she must be a wonderful woman. Being the caregiver can be very difficult. I became part of this board almost 2 years ago. I was the 235th member and Packer was always there with information and his courage gave others courage. Fortunately, at least now almost 2 years later my husband has been one of the lucky ones. He has recovered and back to his old life. Thinner a lot wiser. I continue to read the postings and they continue to give me inspiration.
