one month after my 29th birthday at diagnosis. (That was in January '06). Same condition as yourself - small tumor on right side of tongue (mine borderline I/II) neck dissection on both sides - all nodes clear - no radiation.

Think positive - this might not be a recurrence. Maybe it is just a small canker sore and will go away.

SCC Right Lateral Tongue T2N0M0 Dx 01/12/06, Surgery 01/25/06. Partial Glossectomy, Bilateral Neck Dissection - 22 lymph nodes - all clear. No radiation.
