Platinum Member (300+ posts) Joined: Jun 2013 Posts: 346 Likes: 3 | My cancer wasn't visible from the outside, so I can't speak to that, but I can say that the radiation continues to do its thing for some time after the official treatments stop. It's one reason the recovery time seems so long for us patients, and can surprise us with taking longer to bounce back than we think. However, it's definitely something the doctor should be addressing with you, and hopefully they will give you more specific information for your husband's specific tumor.
