Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 10,507 Likes: 7 | Ive had sinus problems ever since I finished rads. Its like I have a head cold every single day and Im almost 10 years out now. Theres all kinds of after effects that can happen years after completing rads. Especially if you had the old kind of rads before IMRT Maybe it could be post nasal drip that is irritating your throat??? I take liquid kids benedryl every night and a prescription singular every day to help keep the congestion and runny nose under control. If you take something you may want to first talk it over with your doc. Theres too many over the counter meds that will give you dry mouth which for us OC survivors comes with its own set of problems.
