"OCF Canuck" Senior Member (100+ posts) Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 105 | Hi Uptown, Its so nice to here from you. Stephen had been doing yoga and neck stretches every day until a couple of months ago. He stoped because it inflamed his jaw and neck. His radiated skin is slowly getting tighter. The discomfort takes a lot of his energy. He still paints full time since his radiation ended but he must take a lot of short breaks.
After posting my last message I fell asleep to be awoken by Stephen. He was in pain and is celulitis. So we went to tye emergency at midnight and are back home at 5AM. We caught it earlier then last May when his face got more swollen then after surgery.
Stephen is struggling and trying to deal with the progression of the tightness and discomfort from his radiated jaw. It feels as hard as a block of wood. He wonders why radiologists do not consult on this life altering long term suffering. Mostly they talk of emediate risks. He is generally positive, though our joys are quieter now. I am keeping a positive perspective. He is alive and I love him.
