That's horrible and though I'm happy that you finally had it fixed, I'm sorry that it took until you were 20!
Yes, this was very scary for me with all of the blood and how quickly it started. I haven't been sick. I didn't even blow my nose. I just remember leaving my house and feeling like I had some bad post-nasal drip and thinking that it was strange because I wasn't congested. Then it began to feel like a flow. Then I felt a whole lot of what I thought was loose mucous coming out of my nose, so I reached for a tissue and as I looked down, the blood started pouring out of my nose.
I honestly thought "okay...this is it...I know this can and has happened". I was worried about Tristan witnessing anything scary. I am so grateful that I was approaching the police station and I could flag an office down.
Things started to slow down in the ambulance, but I swallowed a lot. My mom is a retired nurse and she reminded me that if I see blood in my stool, not to panic. She know me too well! I am just like her!
I'm just glad everything is okay.
It's been a rough couple of weeks around here. Dan and Laurelin has the flu for nearly a week. Then we had this blizzard. I lost my Aunt Peggy to lymphoma this past week. I am grateful to have had the chance to say my goodbyes and special words with her a few days before she passed. Her services are next week.
I'm looking forward to some drama-free downtime for a while. I'm going to have to be strong for my Mom...they were inseparable for 60 years.
