Well it's been awhile since I was here, I guess it's easier to be looking for someone to talk to when things are uncertain as opposed to when things are looking good! I am managing VERY well with my tongue made from my wrists, I have given new meaning to the phase "talking with your hands"! I have been in speach therapy and the gal I'm working with is amazed at my abilities given I have nothing but the base and flap(s) to work with. Every day I myself find it truly amazing what my wonderful doctor had done. Talking, eating, tasting and living, I am truly indebitted to him and thank my lucky stars I was referred to him! Life is good!
