There will be all sorts of medications given during treatment. Let's hope he takes his med as he does today. With a glass of water and swallow. :-)
Since you mention PEG, there are two camps on the topic. Those who will get one before treatment starts and those who wait until is is shown to be required.
I was advised to not get one early and got through treatment without one. It was tough but I would choose the same path again.
It's nice to see you getting here early and being able to get up to speed and become knowledgeable in advance.
