Hang in there you will have plenty of answers soon. Great to hear that your father's spirits are good.
I, too, had tongue cancer, but was fortunate to have gotten it taken care of quickly enough to avoid chemo and radiation.
There are so many great people on this forum that seem to spend their entire day helping others. Good luck to you and your dad. He's lucky to have such a caring daughter.

Retired Dentist, 59 years old at diagnosis. SCC of the left lateral border of the tongue (Stage I). Partial glossectomy and 30 nodes removed, 4/6/05. Nodes all clear. No chemo no radiation 18 year survivor.
