...who moved on a year ago, one week before his birthday. We had small memorial yesterday morning, followed by a birthday party with a bunch of July babies. Lots of laughs and he would have wanted that. One of our July's is also a survivor which made it all the better.

It still chokes me up to think about the past 3 years. The pain remains but gaining some perspective, if that makes any sense.
