My mother who was first diagnosed with Oral Cancer in May of 2001 passed away last Wednesday at a wonderful local facility that cares for the terminally ill in the last weeks of their lives. She died on her own terms with her family at her side, after deciding not to pursue further treatment when cancer appeared in her lung in May. Helen was 80. I would like to take the opportunity to say thank you to all those who answered questions and offered support during a very difficult 2 1/2 years. This site has been a wonderful source of information and help throughout. I especially want to take my hat off to Brian Hill who's dedication and courage started this endeavor and who through his tireless efforts keeps it going.
