I had this problem for the first year or so with the obturator, but it slowly goes away. I have mine for three years now and very, very rarely have nasal dripping when the obturator is in. I think over time not only does your mouth change from healing but your brain also slowly adjusts the way you chew, swallow, etc to accommodate this new "object".
