Definitely see an ENT. It could very well be nothing, but anything unusual that has been around a bit should be checked out by a specialist. Not a dentist not an oral surgeon but an ent, who has dealt with Oral cancer. (those that haven't may think it's nothing especially if you are young and don't have any bad habits) Experienced ENTs know what to look for, and also know that the demographics are changing.
