To find out what it is they should biopsy it if its been there for 2 or more weeks. Only thru a biopsy will the doc know for certain what the sore is. They can give you a well educated guess but a biopsy will tell you for sure what it is.
Im unclear what you are asking with your question, please clarify it ..... Do mouth and throat cancer share a gene?
