Patient Advocate (old timer, 2000 posts) Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 2,671 | We do need to continue to spread awareness and information in every way possible - friends, family, social media, awareness walks, sharing OCF info with your dentist or doctor, etc., but in a way that will not offend nor irritate those those who are reluctant to accept new information. They may have been emotionally influenced by a constant barrage of mis-information (a.k.a "brainwashing") and it may take a while for new stuff to sink in. Irritating them will only make them sink deeper into the cesspool of misinformation. You cannot "make" someone do or think something they are incapable or unwilling to do. And some just get confused with facts. So it's better to play nice.
